Great location. Just on top of a typical Todcan hill overlooking a beautiful scenery. The house is very well maintained including white cotton sheets and towels. Although we paid the extra needed for the everyday cleaning it worth every cent, the house is always clean and in order. There are enough dishes for every purpose which is nice also. The pool is geat for children because it is not too deep less inviting for adults who prefer to swim. The beach is around 15 minuets drive. If you arrive on summer you must reserve a place for the nearby popular beaches otherwise no shade or tanning bed will be there for you. The only con I could think of is the distance from the big museums since Siena is at 1:30 h drive
But Capalbio Montalcino and other nice towns are at one hour drive. We spent many vacations in Italy and this was the best house we ever had!!

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Urlaub in wunderbarer Gegend. Das Haus ist etwas verwirrend eingerichtet, zu viele Stil-Mixe, aber das ist Geschmacksache. Vielen Dankl für die guten Tipps.

Sehr zu empfehlen, wenn man Weihnachten mal woanders verbringen möchte! Der Kamin hat Geist und Körper gewärmt und wir haben tolle Ausflüge unternommen. Sehr netter Empfang und alle sehr gemütlich! Vielen Dank!

The villa is neither inside nor outside what one imagines in a typical Tuscan villa. We liked this variation very much. A mix of antique and modern; very cozy! The area is fantastic!

Appartamento bellissimo in zona ottimale
Cosa è piaciuto · Posizione ottima, leggermente in collina e fuori dai paesi. Proprietaria gentilissima e sempre a disposizione. Parcheggio coperto ottimo soprattutto per le giornate calde.
Cosa non è piaciuto · Metterei un cartello sulla strada principale in quanto il navigatore non localizzava bene il luogo.

Beautiful!

We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Porta A Colle! Everything was perfect – the villa has three different sized appartements and there is so much space in the house, that it’s no problem if your are staying with other guests. The host, Maria, is very sympatic and helpful! If you need anything or want to ask her about good restaurants and other insider-recommendations – just do it! She will help you and she know‘s the area very well! There are a lot of nice places outside in the beautiful garden for having breakfast/dinner or for just hanging out. You can relax poolside or just jump in your car for about 10 minutes to reach the beautiful old town of Castiglione della Pescaia or the very beautiful beach of Riva del Sole for example. Summerizing I have to say that the villa, the location and the prize are absolutly perfect and fair – tuscany pure – we‘re looking forward to our next stay! 🙂

Eccezionale!

Everything about this place is fantastic. It is a stunning property surrounded by beautiful and peaceful nature. Incredibly rejuvenating! Great walks and trails around the area. We also arranged bike rental through maria and did a great cycle nearby. The host maria was so helpful the entire stay and very friendly ! Also would recommend Le Mortelle vineyard – & 8 min drive and an incredible lunch and wine tasting! We would definitely come back.

Tutto di questo posto è fantastico. È una splendida proprietà immersa nella natura bellissima e tranquilla. Incredibilmente rinvigorente! Ottimi sentieri e passeggiate nei dintorni. Abbiamo anche organizzato il noleggio di biciclette tramite Maria e fatto un ottimo ciclo nelle vicinanze.
La padrona di casa Maria è stata molto disponibile per tutto il soggiorno e molto cordiale!
Inoltre consiglierei il vigneto Le Mortelle – & 8 min di auto e un pranzo e una degustazione di vini incredibili!
Torneremo sicuramente.
